Lisa Larson is a Swedish ceramicist who was born in 1931 in Härlunda, Småland. She studied at the School of Design and Crafts in Gothenburg and worked at Gustavsberg porcelain factory from 1954 to 1980. She is known for her many figurines depicting animals and humans, such as the series Adventsbarn, Larsons ungar and Lilla zoo. Her work often reflects themes of sisterhood, motherhood and family life. She has also created social and environmental projects for UNICEF and WWF. After 1980, she worked as a freelance designer for various companies and founded Keramikstudion in Gustavsberg in 1992. She has also made public sculptures, such as Saltsjöbadsodjuret and Bysantinsk ängel. She was married to painter Gunnar Larson until his death in 2020. Her ceramics have collectors all over the world, especially in Japan. She is represented at the National Museum in Stockholm and other museums.
